THE LOCATION

The Tribune precinct is located on a block accessed from Queen Street and Karamu Road in the heart of the Hastings CBD. Within a few minutes walk to the also recently refurbished Hastings ToiToi Opera House and Event Centre.

It is a beautiful fusion of raw materials, restored heritage buildings and modern spaces set in an urban garden. Since completion of its extensive renovation it is now home to 28 tenants ranging from hospitality operators, retail and offices.

THE SPACE

For over a hundred years the site was the home of the iconic Hawke’s Bay Today newspaper. In early 2010’s the newspaper started moving its business elsewhere and the buildings sat in an increasingly derelict state. In 2018 the site was sold to local property company Hansen Property Group who commenced the mammoth task of revitalising the character buildings and large printing warehouse into a modern and unique precinct with a mixed tenancy of hospitality, retail and offices.
